Chapter 5
Class resumes the next day…
Mr. Buster: “Welcome back everyone, today we will be reviewing a film titled History of the Split Second- The Slowing of Time”.
Film Narration begins:
By the year 2250 micro-robotics were used to make brain enhancements that slowed perceived time during critical moments. These extended “split-second” intervals further improved human decision-making. This appears as slow-motion perception paired with refined reflexes in high-stakes situations, a key hallmark of AI-2 modified humans. This AI-assisted discriminative response tool reduced accidents by an estimated ninety percent. The tool enhanced perception and added analysis metrics to decision-making with wider judgment windows in time. The variables that once made human behavior less predictable became even further controlled by this tool and produced much more favorable outcomes. This development narrowed risks dramatically.
Earlier generations were often driven by impulse and immediate gratification triggers. To reduce poor outcomes and due to reactive behavior, biometric tools increased response capacity and adaptive potential. This lowered unnecessary risks. It also sharpened selective attention, improving how people respond to stimuli through added informational input and advanced bio-machined motor skills that were faster and more accurate than those of prior generations.
Nomadia’s culture evolved away from hoarding power and wealth from the very beginning. Resources became shared, yet some remnants of class structure remained. For example, society still separates the Naturals from the optimal bio-engineered series. Ranking based on ability and a recycling category for damaged humans or those deemed too deviant to be permitted on the ships is still a persisting example of hierarchy today.
As AI improved, humans became monitored for illness, nutritional needs and even stress. An imported bio-machined doctor worked quietly behind the scenes to address our needs in real time much like the natural autonomic systems they were designed after.
Starting in the year 2300, AI’s were provided with simulated intuition skills that were remarkably lifelike and highly accurate. The perceived threat of the rising popularity of AI’s at the time included a growing love phenomenon between machines and Naturals. Romantic pairing was lessening natural birth rates by an estimated 36% in just the first few years. Those favoring AI hailed the developments as helping to solve loneliness and meeting population control concerns.
With the return to Earth approaching the dynamics of relationships and related codes are being revisited and updated to help secure a safe transition. The differences of Earth based living versus vessel living vary widely. This demands a wide range of adjustments to be made. While the changes are viewed by some as great opportunities, others view the changes with caution and are trying to run various threat analysis so that we are prepared with reasonable emergency plans.
One result of the AI generations was that schema was less diverse because everyone, but the naturals, was tied to one central mainframe. Personality became less diverse. Hegemony increased and with that there was less variety, even less conflict. In practice that meant less competition and less creativity. Fight or flight instincts were suppressed by generations of stability. Over time many human instincts had to be redirected through elective, regulated outlets. Programs to reward distinctions and safer forms of chaos, such as violence and dominance, were helpful to keep some resemblance of instinct alive, although muted.
The blunted class system consists today of ruling Naturals, bio-machined workers, and those categorized as fit for being recycled. On Nomadia, group consciousness outweighs individual consciousness, except in the Natural class. Intelligence of Naturals barely reaches 50% of the lowest bio-enhanced modified human Ai series. However, Naturals suggest the scoring of IQ remains biased in favor of machine learning. The Naturals however exhibit sensitive innate self-survival instincts and fear reflexes which make them unpredictable, unlike AI systems. This supports an argument for readiness needs and concerns. For example, over-reliance on AI in the face of power outages could be catastrophic. The central question remains: has 500 years of reduced adversity created a new vulnerability in humans? If so, how should that be addressed as the resettlement of Earth2 begins?
It is horrific that toxins disrupt mutually beneficial relationships (symbiosis) cause genetic mutations and damage Earth’s natural habitats (biomes). The history of disease (pathology) is closely related to environmental conditions. Consider the work performed by trees and plants (biomass) in cleaning the air. Biomass ratios measured against carbon dioxide (pollution) emissions reveal how much living plant matter is needed to clean the air. Nature’s power is breath taking, or in this case breath giving - literally. Simply put, too much toxic garbage can overwhelm the Earth’s regenerative capacity. In science this is called a tipping point. A point from which a spiraling depletion may occur, often without a possibility to return to balance. This phenomenon is called entropy- a broken state.
Satellite data now shows that Earth’s biomass has grown significantly after five hundred years of AI supported ecological restoration. Since most classes of toxins were banned in 2050, increases in biomass suggests that many environmentally related diseases are less likely to return. Even so, vigilance remains essential.
Disease agents and toxins can remain trapped in plants, insects, and animals frozen in ancient ice and may escape during melts, burns, and natural lifecycle events. This was observed in earlier pathology records from the year 2020. Therefore, Earth2 management plans account for these risks and include ongoing recommendations for containment and response. These conditions will continue to be monitored and mitigated through coordinated AI oversight along with human team members.

Facts And Helpful Observations About Poisons
Blood examinations show that since leaving earth sperm counts and cholinesterase levels have been stabilized. This indicates low toxicity in society.
Recently Ai reported Earth’s waterways went from 100% contamination to 23% contamination levels. This rating has not been on record since the 1920’s on earth.
In surveying the sixty-year period leading up to mass exodus (1990- 2050) we are able to see strong indicators of contributing variables leading to the devastating storms that forced us off the planet.
Al Gore, former statesman, stated: “In 1988, the Environmental Protection Agency reported that ground water in thirty-two states was contaminated with seventy-four detected agricultural chemicals. One, the herbicide atrazine, is classified as carcinogen”. During that period, testicular cancer reportedly rose by approximately 50 percent.
Likewise in the year 1994 reports issued by Dr. Helen Caldicott, MD, stated, “Pro-toxin industries have strong allies in all spheres that promote misleading information and jeopardize public health. Exposure to a variety of poisons resulting from pollution, industrial byproducts, the manufacture of military weapons, and inefficient nuclear energy production all increasingly threaten life because toxins are known to destroy genetic material, cause illnesses, and destroy natural systems that sustain life”. She commented, “minimum tolerated toxin levels regulated by governments are often above the level at which damage to the liver and other organs or tissues may begin.” Dr. Hunsucker, botanist (1995) also stated there are in fact, “no tests that can measure toxins that accumulate and mutate”.
Dr. Balch referred to detoxification approaches including food choices, fasting and herbal treatments in his books. Still even the most rigorous counter measures only modestly slowed the cancer accelerated death rates. The way in which water and contamination interacted within food chains made the toxification problem grossly underestimated and largely misunderstood until microplastic studies in 2026 began to appear. How to contain toxins estimated to live for thousands or years became the new challenge. Preventing toxins from occurring in the first place was decidedly a logical next step among scientists.
Narrator: The film ends and the lights come on.
Mr. Buster: “Reminder, class is cancelled tomorrow due to the orientation for those selected to resettle Earth.
Narrator: Buster tears up and his voice starts to crack.
Buster: “It’s really been a great honor serving this class for the last 15 years…”
Narrator: He hesitates.
Student: “Sir, if I may I would like to present you a farewell gift from the class”.
Narrator: She hands him a golden apple, she says “we all signed it with appreciation for all the laughter and knowledge you helped us acquire in the traditional way. We are really going to miss you and look forward to reading your reports from New Earth.” The entire class stands and salutes Mr. Buster as a sign of respect.
Mr. Buster: “Thanks to you all, I can’t express how deeply grateful I am for the opportunity to know each and everyone of you. My hope is Earth will be opened up eventually and we may visit one another again in the not-so-distant future. Until then, may the sun warm you, the moon keep you in orbital balance and life continue to expand your horizon filled with new opportunities. Thanks for sharing, loving, giving and reaching meaningful universal understandings together. This apple that I pledge to never eat, (class laughs) will remind me of our pursuit of knowledge together, the seed and nourishment that feeds my soul in the flame of our survival”.
Narrator: Mr. Buster gathers his things and leaves while the class is giving him a standing ovation.

Note to readers. Book II is estimated to be completed by this summer 2026. Thanks for supporting the project as we grow.
